    Grandson now is making his own memories while bring fond memories of his parents forward too. Today the almost 19 month old said (among other colors) purple. While watching a simple video. And then soon after fell asleep in my arms…

    Jules, simple things like this make memories that we may remember long after graduations, weddings and other important “events.” I can see him, soft and sweet in your arms.

    I understand, Barb. Memories can cut, certainly. I prefer to recall those times with my son that were the best. And honestly, there were few that were not in that category. He was one of a kind, a man who lived fully and well. Even as a little tossle-haired boy 🙂
