April’s Fool

Dance!

Spin, whirl

Twist, circle,

Tumble groundward;

Azure light above

Green below; spongy earth–

Roll, feel velvet moss and mud

Taste violet’s purple fragrance

Spin! Spin, whirl, twirl, spin again until

daffodils blur into puddles of gold.
