Luminescent Lullabye

NaPoWriMo Day 7: The prompt today was to write a tritina. Very tricky! Here’s my attempt at this strange form.

To the sun, to the sun, to the moon and the stars,
to the earth and the trees, to the clouds and the sun,

to all the living creatures creeping ‘neath the moon,

I sing to you a lullabye, a song of man and moon,
a soaring rhythm ringing with the shining stars,
a tune, a tune, a tune of spring and sun.

Sing along, sing along, my little baby stars,
washed white in streaming light of moon,
raise your voices, bathed in sun,

Sing praises to the stars, the sun, the moon.
